Present tense

The present tense of weak verbs is made in the same way as the present tense of strong verbs:

loofxn (lyxf- / gxloofxd) - to walk

  singular plural
1st person ik  loofx vy  loofxn
2nd person doa/gx  loofxst joa  loofxt
3rd person hey/zy/it  loofxt zee loofxn


Past tense

The past tense is made by using the past tense form, and adding the same ending as in the present tense:

  singular plural
1st person ik  lyxfx vy  lyxfxn
2nd person doa/gx  lyxfxst joa  lyxfxt
3rd person hey/zy/it  lyxfxt zee lyxfxn

 

Perfect tense:

is made by using the past participle (which is irregular for weak verbs), and using the same auxiliary verbs as with the strong verbs:

  singular plural
1st person ik  hebx gxloofxd vy  hebxn gxloofxd
2nd person doa/gx  hest gxloofxd joa  hebxt gxloofxd
3rd person hey/zy/it  heefxt gxloofxd zee hebxn gxloofxd

 

Future tense and imperative mood:

Are made in exactly the same way as with strong verbs
